PPS Mutual bolsters team with new NSW Business Development Manager


Mutual insurance company PPS Mutual has announced the appointment of Sophie Gacomi to the role of Business Development Manager, NSW. The role reports to Sabrina Walmsley, State Manager for NSW and ACT.

Ms Gacomi will support both Ms Walmsley and the PPS Mutual proposition with qualifying financial advisers in NSW.

“Sophie has a well-known reputation for care and diligence, and she has been highly recommended by many in the advice community. I am thrilled that Sophie has agreed to join the PPS Mutual family,” Ms Walmsley said.

Ms Gacomi joins PPS Mutual with over 10 years’ experience in similar BDM roles with insurance companies BT Life, Clear View and OnePath, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisers and key stakeholders.

“I look forward to explaining these benefits to my network of advisers,” Ms Gacomi said.

PPS Mutual’s business development team has now expanded to include 10 people, including Ms Gacomi.
