PPS Mutual targets Queensland growth with new Business Development Manager


Mutual life insurance company PPS Mutual today announces the appointment of Brynley Williams to the role of Business Development Manager in Queensland.

The role will commence effective immediately and reports to Richard Hopwood, State Manager, Queensland.

Mr Williams will be charged with supporting Mr Hopwood and the PPS Mutual proposition as well as driving ongoing expansion of the state’s network by managing key financial adviser relationships.

Mr Hopwood said, “We are confident that Brynley’s background and expertise aligns with PPS Mutual’s unique proposition that focuses on creating security and peace of mind for Members in both their working life and retirement.

“I am looking forward to working with Brynley to develop our business here in Queensland, leveraging his industry experience and expertise which will be a valuable addition to our team and our model.”

Brynley joins PPS Mutual with over 10 years’ experience in financial services, where he has developed strong relationships with advisers and their staff through his collaborative approach of training, support and development. He also brings a deep understanding of insurance solutions, having worked in the Queensland life insurance market since 2008. He has held a range of positions including Regional Client Development Associate at AIA Australia, as well as Digital Business Development Manager at BT Financial Group.
