PPS Mutual Strengthens its Adviser support team with new hires in South Australia and Victoria

Specialist insurance company PPS Mutual today announces two key appointments for its growing presence servicing the needs of financial advisers in South Australia and Victoria.

Robyn Faber has been appointed to the role of Business Development Manager (BDM) South Australia, with Steven Walker appointed to the position of BDM for Victoria.

Mr Walker will report directly to the State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Shadia Kouzma and Ms Faber will report directly to the State Manager for West Australia and South Australia, Steven Salter.

Both roles will commence effective immediately and each is charged with supporting the PPS Mutual proposition amongst select financial advisers within their respective South Australian and Victorian locations.

PPS Mutual Director of Distribution, Brian Pillemer, said “In these extraordinary times, it is more important than ever to be communicating the unique PPS Mutual proposition to financial advisers across Australia. Our immediate goal is to show our positivity and purpose to advisers and to support all existing and potential new insured Members during times of uncertainty in their life”.

“We are confident that Steven and Robyn’s expert experience align with the PPS Mutual mission to provide exceptional insurance benefits to eligible professionals and to create security and peace of mind for Members during both their working lives and in retirement,” Mr Pillemer said.

Mr Walker joins PPS Mutual from similar BDM roles with life insurance companies TAL and Asteron Life, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisers and key partners.

“Having also spent 14 years in both business development and sales roles with AIA Australia and AMP & AXA Australia, Mr Walker brings a wealth of understanding and knowledge to PPS Mutual, amid the current industry and broader climate,” Mr Pillemer said.
